Extension to the Consultation Period / Submission Deadline to 16th January 2023

The consultation period for the application for the Railway (MetroLink to Charlemont via Dublin Airport) Order [2022] has been extended from 25th November 2022 to 16th January 2023.

This extension follows on from the inadvertent omission of one specific Appendix (Appendix A9-2-M Traffic and Transportation Assessment – St Stephen’s Green Station) from the extensive volume of documentation associated with the application.

In order to ensure full and effective public participation for inspection and the making of submissions/observations a further period of time is deemed appropriate and has been agreed.

TII has undertaken the following actions to ensure that this information is made available to all interested parties:

1. Newspaper notices with updates were published on 25th November  2022;
2. Affected landowners/occupiers and Prescribed Bodies are being notified of the omission and updated timeline;
3. A copy of the omitted document is being placed at the display locations where the RO documentation may be inspected and also on the Railway Order website www.metrolinkro.ie.

TII regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of this omission and has made every effort to ensure that this document is widely circulated for inclusion in the consultation process.
