MetroLink is a new high-capacity, high-frequency metro railway for Dublin, running from Swords to Charlemont. It will connect Dublin Airport with the city centre and key destinations, including Ballymun, DCU, and major rail, Luas and bus interchanges.
Designed as a fully segregated rail system, MetroLink will provide fast, reliable and frequent journeys, helping to transform how people move around the Greater Dublin Area. When operational, services are expected to run every few minutes during peak periods, with a journey time of approximately 25 minutes between Swords and the city centre.
MetroLink will form part of Dublin's integrated public transport network, creating new connections between communities, workplaces, educational institutions and transport hubs across the region.
