At MetroLink, sustainability means creating positive, long-term social impact alongside delivering transformative public transport infrastructure. Our Social Impact approach is focused on four key themes that help ensure the benefits of MetroLink are felt by people, communities, and businesses across Ireland.
MetroLink is dedicated to Increasing Workforce Capabilities Across Ireland. Through skills development, apprenticeships, training programmes, and education partnerships, we are helping to build a skilled and diverse workforce while inspiring future generations to pursue careers in the infrastructure and transport sectors.
We are also committed to fostering A Happier, Healthier and Safer Workforce by promoting wellbeing, supporting inclusivity, and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and welfare across our project teams and supply chain partners.
Through Embedded Local Economic Inclusion, we seek to maximise opportunities for local businesses, social enterprises, and underrepresented groups, ensuring that investment generated by MetroLink contributes to sustainable economic growth and shared prosperity in the communities we serve.
Enhanced Community Relationships are central to our approach. We work closely with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to build trust, encourage meaningful engagement, and create lasting social impact throughout the project lifecycle.
Together, these four themes guide our commitment to delivering a MetroLink that not only connects places, but also people: strengthening communities, creating opportunities, and contributing to a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future for Ireland.
